Wikipedia: Robert Munro
(Ross-shire 21 July 1835–1920) was a Scottish archaeologist. He was educated at the University of Edinburgh and was a physician at Kilmarnock until when he turned his whole attention to archaeological research. He was a member of many learned societies at home and abroad and published several books on the subject of his researches.

Robert Monro (died 1680), was a famous Scottish General, from the Clan Munro of Ross-shire, Scotland. He was the author of a diary recounting his military experiences, published as Monro, His Expedition With the Worthy Scots Regiment Called Mac-Keys. It is one of the first military histories ever published, certainly the first in the English language.
