Danny Bradford Cox (born September 21, in Northampton, England), is a former Major League Baseball pitcher. He pitched for the St. Louis Cardinals from to 1988, the Philadelphia Phillies from to 1992, the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1992, and then the Toronto Blue Jays from to 1995, when he retired. Over his eleven-year career, Cox won 74, lost 75, recorded a ERA, 21 complete games, 5 shutouts and 8 saves. He won Game 3 of the National League Championship Series with the Cardinals trailing 2 games to none. Cox pitched well in the World Series, but earned two no-decisions. He pitched a shutout in Game 7 of the National League Championship Series, and was the winning pitcher in Game 5 of the World Series.
